Does Kintone support multiple languages?
You can use Kintone in various languages.
Setting screens and menus can be displayed in Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified) or Chinese (Traditional). In addition to these languages, you can use the following languages when you enter and display your data and comments for records.
Example: Thai, Malay, Filipino, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Korean and so on
Display Language Can Be Changed
You can change the display language to any of Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified), or Chinese (Traditional). By doing this, system-provided text on the form setting screen and menus is displayed in the language you selected. Please be noted that if you select Chinese (Traditional) as your display language, some screens may be displayed in English.
You can also show the screens based on the language setting in your web browser. If your web browser is configured to use a language other than Japanese, English, or Chinese, the screens in Kintone will be displayed in English.
Each user can set their display language separately in the Account Settings screen. For more details, refer to Switching to Different Display Language.
Name for Each App Item Can Be Displayed Based on Your Display Language
You can specify a name for each app item (such as an app name or a field name) in Japanese, English or Chinese. By doing this, you can show the localized item name based on user’s display language setting.
For example, there may be both users who set the display language to English and users who set the display language to Japanese in your environment. In such a case, if you specify a name for each app item in both English and Japanese, the name is displayed in English for the English user interface, and in Japanese for the Japanese user interface.
You can also specify a name for each app item in any language other than Japanese, English, and Chinese. When the display language is set to any of Japanese, English, or Chinese, you can use the same language field as your display language to specify a name for each app item in the Localization setting.
When the display language is set to English and you want to display a name for each app item in your local language, you can use the English field in the Localization setting screen to specify the localized name using multilingual characters.
For more details on how to configure the setting, refer to App Localization Settings.
Data and Comments Can Be Entered in Multiple Languages
In the editable fields, such as input fields on the setting screens and comments, you can enter characters and display them onscreen in your local language.
For example, you can specify a space name in Thai on the Space Settings screen. Also, you can enter data in Vietnamese on the screen to add/edit records.
For details, refer to Is it possible to enter characters of multiple languages in apps and spaces?
