Are passwords case-sensitive?

Article Number:040359

The alphabetical characters used in a password are case-sensitive.

When you configure or type your password, you need to check whether CapsLock and NumLock are turned on or off.
Turning on/off CapsLock will switch between uppercase and lowercase.
If NumLock is disabled, you cannot type numbers using the numeric keypad.

To check whether characters are entered as you intended, try to type your password in a text editor such as Notepad.
If the password is displayed as you intended, copy and paste the password and check if you can log in using it.
Make sure that there is no unnecessary space before and after the password.
