Changing Which App Group an App Belongs To

Using App Groups enables you to set the same permission to multiple apps at once, eliminating the troublesome task of setting permission for each app separately.
By default, apps belong to the "Public" app group.
You can change the app group to which the apps belong from the Permissions for App setting.

Steps

The following steps show you how to change the app group to which an app belongs.

  1. Click the App Settings icon (the gear-shaped icon) at the upper right of the "View" screen.

  2. On the "App Settings" screen, select the App Settings tab, and then click App under Permissions.

  3. In the "App Group" drop-down list, select the app group to which you want to move the app.
    If "Create apps" permission is not granted to an app group in the App Groups under the Permissions in Kintone Administration, it will not appear as a selectable option. Screen

  4. Click Save on the bottom right side of the screen.

  5. Click Save and apply on the confirmation screen.
    Screen The change you made to the app group is applied when you click Save and apply.
