Record Number

Record Number field Every time a record is added, a sequential number is assigned to the Record number field automatically starting from "1".
You cannot change values in Record Number fields. Record numbers of deleted records are inactivated and will not be re-assigned.
Even when the Record number field is not placed on a form, it is automatically displayed when some actions are taken (for example, when filtering records).

Usage Examples

  • Record numbers are assigned sequentially to enable distinguishing records.
For example, you can use this field as Application Number by changing its name in a task request app. Task request app example
