This field automatically assigns record numbers not overlapped with other records at entering.
You cannot change values in Record Number fields. Record numbers of deleted records are not assigned to other records.
You can recognize records by their numbers in Record Number fields.
For example, you can use this field as Application Number by changing its name in a task request app.
For an app that is set with an app code, the record number is a combination of an app code and numbers.
For example, if you set the app code as "client", the value in the Record Number field becomes "client-1". In Kintone apps or spaces, any record number that includes an app code becomes a link to a corresponding record.
You can set a link to a specific client record by setting an app code in a customer management app and entering the record number in the comment field.
For details, see "Setting an App Code" page.
