Link
You can place a Link field and use that field to enter an URL, phone number, or E-mail address and convert the entered string into a link.
Usage Examples
If you click a link, corresponding Web page or related service launches.
- When clicking an URL, the corresponding Web page will be opened in another tab.
- When clicking a phone number, Skype or another app is launched to make a call.
- When clicking an e-mail address , Outlook or another e-mail app launches to send an e-mail.
Setting Options

Name
- Specify the label for the entry field. E.g., "Company URL", "Telephone Number"

Hide field name
- Hide the field name on the "New Record," "Edit Record," "Record Details," and record printing screens.

Required field
- Select this option to require entry of data into the field.

Prohibit duplicate values
- Select this option to prevent users from entering duplicate values in multiple records.

Select this option to place an input field for entering a URL. - Phone
Select this option to place an input field for entering a telephone number. - E-mail Address
Select this option to place an input field for entering an e-mail address.

Number of Characters
- Specify the minimum and/or the maximum number of characters allowed for the field.

Default Value
- Set a value that will appear in the entry field by default when users add a record.
