Check Box

You can place a Check box field to create a check box on a form.
Check box field is suitable when you want users to select multiple options.
If you provide only one option, users can choose to enable or disable that option.

Similar Fields

  • Multi-choice
    Like the Checkbox field, you can select multiple options. You can also save the field without selecting any option.
    Note that, unlike Check box fields where you can display options vertically or horizontally, options in Multi-choice fields are always displayed vertically.

  • Radio Button
    You must select only one option in this field.

  • Drop-down
    You can select only one option in this field.
    You can save the field without selecting any option.

  • This field is also suitable when enabling or disabling one option that is displayed.

Setting Options

Check box field
  • Field Name
    • Specifies the header for the entry item.
  • Hide field name
    • Hides the field names on the screens to add, edit, enter details of, and print records.
  • Required field
    • Sets a field where a value is required to be entered.
  • Options
    • Drag and drop the arrow icon to change the order of options.
      The values entered are displayed as options.
      Checked options are displayed as selected by default.
      You can set up to 1,000 options using full-width or half-width characters (maximum number of characters for each option is 128).
  • Layout
    • Specifies the item layout to be displayed in horizontal or vertical order.
      When the app is used on a mobile device, options are displayed vertically regardless of this setting.

    • The text string to specify this field (in a formula or an API).
      You can use check boxes in formulas.
