Downloading Apps as Templates

Article Number:040493

From an app's "App Settings" screen, you can create and download a template of the app's settings in a single operation.
What Are App Templates?

The downloaded template file can be imported into different Kintone domains, so you can easily share your app settings with Kintone users outside of your own environment.

Usage examples

  • When you want to consult with someone outside your company and ask them to review the settings of the app
  • When you want to provide someone with a sample app that you have created while introducing Kintone to them

Required permissions

To download an app as a template, you must have permission to manage the app and Kintone administrative permission.
There are also other precautions that should be taken, so be sure to check the "Notes" section before carrying out your operation.

Notes
