Settings That Are Not Included in App Templates

The following settings are not included in app templates:

  • App Code
  • Notification settings
    However, templates will include the setting of notifications whose recipients are any of the following users, groups, or fields:
    • Administrator user
    • Administrators group
    • Everyone group
    • "Created by" field
    • "Updated by" field
    • Assignee (when the process management function is enabled)
  • Access permissions
  • Periodic Reports
  • Options of the User Selection field
    • However, if an Administrator user, Everyone group, and Administrators group are set as options of a field, they are included in the template.
  • Default value of the User Selection field
    • However, if an Administrator user, Everyone group, or Administrators group is set as the default value of a field, it is included in the template.
  • Options of the Department Selection field
  • Default value of the Department Selection field
    • However, Priority Department is included in the template.
  • Options of the Group Selection field
    • However, Everyone group and Administrators group are included in the template.
  • Default value of the Group Selection field
    • However, Everyone group and Administrators group are included in the template.
  • Conditions set in the Initial filter setting of the Lookup field
    • However, an Administrator user and login user are included in the template.
  • Filter conditions of views or reports that use the User Selection, Created by, or Updated by field
    • However, if a condition uses the User Selection field and an Administrator user or login user is set, the user is included in the template.
  • Process management
    • However, if Branch Criteria uses the User Selection field and an Administrator user is set, an Administrator user is included in the template.
    • Assignee
      However, if an assignee is set to an Administrator user, Administrators group, Everyone group, Created by field, or Updated by field, the assignee setting is included in the template.
  • Available To setting of an action
    Available To is always set to "Everyone" (all users), regardless of whether the field has a specified value.
