Adding/Deleting Plug-Ins (System Administration)

A plug-in is a package containing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS files for setting pages.
By applying plug-ins to Kintone, you can extend the features of apps.
To start using plug-ins, you need to perform the following actions.

  • Add a plug-in to the Kintone Administration.
  • Add a plug-in you need to each app and configure that plug-in.

This page describes how to add/delete a plug-in to Kintone Administration.

Importing Plug-Ins From Files

If you want to use plug-ins provided by Kintone development partners, add plug-ins by importing them from files.
Do not import any plug-in unless you trust the source of the file.

  1. Open the "Kintone Administration" screen.

  2. Click Plug-ins under Other.

  3. Click Import on the upper left side of the screen.

  4. Click Browse and select the plug-in file (plug-in-name.zip) you want to import.

    • Plug-in files that remain in zip format can be directly imported.
    • Files up to 100 MB in size can be imported.
  5. Click Import.

If the plug-in is listed as "Imported Plug-ins", it means that the addition has been completed successfully.
When you update the imported plug-in, re-import the file that contains the latest version of the plug-in. The steps to import is the same as the ones when you newly add.

After the system administrator installs the plug-in, the app administrator must add the plug-in on the setting page for each app.

Deleting Plug-Ins

To delete the added plug-in, click the delete button Delete icon on the Plug-ins screen of the System Administration.
You can delete the added plug-in by clicking Uninstall.

To delete the plug-in that was added to each app, click the delete icon Delete icon on the "Plug-in" screen of the App Settings.
