TIPS: Viewing Records That Are Assigned to You

In Kintone apps, you can display a view of records that are assigned to you.
Even when multiple users are using the app, you can quickly check the records that are assigned to you. View of records that are assigned to you

Setting a Contact Field in an App

Place a field for entering a contact. In this example, place the "User selection" field.
You can also use the "Created by" field for displaying a user name when creating a record. Add the User Selection field

You can create a view of records that are assigned to you in the following two ways.

  • Create a view in the Record view (top page of an app).
  • Create a view in the app settings screen.

You can also display your name (logged-in user name) when creating a record.

Creating a View of Records That Are Assigned to You in the Record View

  1. Click the filter menu in the Record view (top page of an app).

  2. Select a field name (Contact, etc.) where an contact is set.

  3. Click the icon to select from departments or groups.

  4. Select Login user in the Others tab, and click Add (1). Check that the "Login user" is added with the condition "includes any of".

  5. Select other filter conditions or "Sort by" options as needed.
    In this example, select "Ascending" for the period and the interaction process.

  6. Click Save and specify the view name to save it.
    If you just want to display the filtered view, click Apply.

Creating a View of Records That Are Assigned to You in the App Settings Screen

  1. In the Record view screen (top page of the app), click the settings menu Gear icon.

  2. Open the View tab.

  3. Click the button for adding views to create a new view. You can also click Duplicate to copy an already created view.
    In this example, click Duplicate to copy an already created view.

  4. Click Edit for the copied view.

  5. Specify a name ("Records assigned to me" etc.).
    Change the fields to display in the view, as needed.

  6. Select the contact for the filter condition, and click the department/group selection icon.

  7. Open the "Others" tab and select "Login User". Then, click Add. Check that the "Login User" is added as a condition.

  8. Click "Save" on the upper left side of the screen.

  9. Click "Update App" on the upper right side of the screen.

Now, the view of records that are assigned to you is created. View of records that are assigned to you
