Sum Feature and Graph Feature

App users can sum up records.
App administrators can save sum settings as graphs.

  • By using the Create Graph feature in your app, you can sum up numbers or records based on the current view, and create a graph (bar chart, pie chart, line chart and so on) or a table.
  • With the Graphs feature, you can save sum settings in your app, and users can view the saved bar charts, pie charts, line charts, or tables.

Both the View and the App Settings page provide the same sum conditions to apply.
Both pages also allow exporting results to files as long as the administrators or users have appropriate permission.
The following sections describe how the View and the App Settings page differ in the way to create graphs.

App Users Use the View Screen

App Administrators Use the App Settings Page

In the Graphs tab of the app settings page, create a graph and save it. This action is allowed only for app administrators.
The saved condition appears in the Graph drop-down list on the view screen so that non-administrator users also can use the condition. Graphs setting screen in the app settings page Show the created graph in a view

Administrators can set a "Periodic Report" to automate generating summarized results periodically.
