Install the Plug-In on Kintone

Plug-ins are used to extend the features of apps.
Users can use only the plug-ins that were installed by administrators.
To enable the use of a plug-in, the following two steps are required:

  • Install the Plug-In on Kintone System Administration
  • Add the plug-in to each app

The following describes how to install a plug-in in Kintone.

Install Plug-Ins by Importing a File

For plug-ins that you created or those that are provided by Kintone development partners, import the files to install the plug-ins.

  1. Open the system administration screen.
    Opening the System Administration Screen
  2. From "Other", click "Plug-ins".

  3. Click "Import". Image
  4. Click "Browse" to select the plug-in file (plug-in-name.zip) you want to import.

  5. Click "Import".

If the plug-in is listed as Imported Plug-ins, it means that the installation completes successfully.
To update a plug-in that was installed by importing a file, re-import the file that contains the latest version of the plug-in. The import procedure is the same as when you installed the plug-in.

After your system administrator installs the plug-in, your app administrator adds the plug-in to apps on setting pages for each app. "Adding Plug-Ins to an App" page describes the instructions to do this.
