Inviting your Team Members

Overview

Kintone is a great communication space for teams. To begin collaborating, let’s invite members from your team and organization to Kintone. Please note, you must be a Kintone Administrator to invite others to your subdomain. 

Inviting your Team During your First Login

When you login to Kintone for the first time, a “Welcome to Kintone!” box is displayed. You can invite your team members through this screen.

  1. Press "Next" and continue to follow the instructions on the screen.

  1. When the “Invite your team members” box is displayed, enter email addresses and names of those you would like to invite. The invitation email is sent to the specified addresses. If you'd like, you can skip this invitation step and invite your team later.

Please note:

  • You can invite up to four team members at one time. If you would like to invite more than four members after you complete the initial invitation steps, click the tutorial_us.png icon on the upper part of the screen to start the steps again.
  • If you skip the step to invite team members, you can invite them later by clicking the tutorial_us.png icon
  • Team members you invited will receive the email below:

  1. When the message “Invitation email has been sent!” is displayed, you have successfully invited your team members. By clicking the “Next” button, the tutorial is started.

Inviting your Team Later

You can invite your team later if you skipped the step to invite team members during your first login.

Please note, the tutorial_us.png icon is displayed on the upper part of the screen during your 30-day trial period. The icon is not displayed after the trial period has ended.

  1. Click the tutorial_us.png icon.

  1. Click “Invite Team Members”.

  1. When the “Invite your team members” box is displayed, enter the email addresses and names of members and click “Invite”. The invitation email is sent to the specified addresses.

Please note:

  • You can invite up to four team members at one time. If you would like to invite more than four members after you complete the initial invitation steps, click the tutorial_us.png icon on the upper part of the screen to start the steps again.
  • By visiting Users & System Administration, you can confirm existing registered users.
  • Team members you invited receive the email below:

  1. When the message “Invitation email has been sent!” is displayed, you have successfully invited your team members.
