Use the Guest Management page to manage Kintone guest users. Kintone administrators can change passwords for guests and delete guests.

  • A "guest" is a user who joins a guest space as a guest. For details on guest spaces, see the following page: Guest Spaces

Managing Guests

On the guest management screen, you can view a list of guests who have joined guest spaces and the guest license usage. Additionally, you can perform the following actions on guests:

  • Change the status of a guest
    • A guest cannot access Kintone when their status is "Inactive".
  • Change the password of a guest
    • You cannot change the password of a guest whose account is linked to a Kintone account under a different domain.
  • Delete a guest

How to Manage Guests

  1. From the Gear wheel gear_wheel.PNG select Kintone Administration
  2. Under Guests, select Guest Management.
    • Under Guest License Usage, the number of trial guest accounts in use, the number of paid guest accounts in use, and the number of available guest account licenses is displayed.
    • Click License Upgrade to manage your account. 
    • The Guest Users section shows information about guest users.
      • The Company, Display Name, Email Address, Status, Last Logged In date, Guest Space information, License information, and Trial Expiration Date for each guest is displayed.
      • To edit the guest profile, click the Edit icon, change desired fields, and click Save.
      • To delete the guest, click Delete while editing the guest profile, or click the Trash Can on the right of the user's name.

Login Security Settings That Are Applied to Guests

Some login security settings that are configured in System Administration are applied to guests, but others are not applied. The details are as follows:

Enable auto-complete for the login name

  • If you started the free trial on or after September 8, 2019, auto-complete is not available.

✔: The setting is applied to guests.

Please note that IP address restrictions are not applied to the login screen for guests.
