Adding Plug-ins to an App

A plug-in is a software module that you can install into an app to enhance its capabilities. To add a Plug-in to an app, an administrator must first install a plug-in. See Installing Plug-ins for directions. Up to 20 plug-ins can be used for an app. For more information on Plug-ins, see the Kintone Developer Network.
 

Adding previously installed plug-ins to an app

  1. Within an app, click the Gear wheel Screen_Shot_2017-07-19_at_9.43.03_AM.png on the right.
  2. Go to the App Settings tab and under Customization and Integration, select Plug-ins.
  3. Click New. The available plug-ins are listed.
  4. Select the check box for the desired plug-in.
  5. Click Add.
  6. In the Description section, you will see Required field has not been set.
  7. Under Change Settings, click the Settings Settings icon. The settings page displays the fields you must fill in for the plug-in to work. Required fields are indicated by a red asterisk *
  8. Click Save
  9. Click back to the App Settings page, and select Update App.

Deleting a Plug-in from an App

  1. Within an app, click the Gear wheel Screen_Shot_2017-07-19_at_9.43.03_AM.png on the right.
  2. Go to the App Settings tab and under Customization and Integration, select Plug-ins.
  3. Click the Trash can Trash Can next to the Plug-in you wish to delete.
  4. Click back to the App Settings page, and select Update App.
