Enabling Two-Factor Authentication
Using the two-factor authentication to authenticate users twice when logging in to kintone.com can strengthen its security.

Confirming If the Administrator Has Allowed the Use of Two-Factor Authentication
The two-factor authentication is available when Kintone Users & System administrators allow users to use it.
Users can confirm the two-factor authentication settings by accessing their Profile screen.

What Users Should Do
STEP 1: Installing authentication app
To use the two-factor authentication, you need an authentication app.
When you log in to Kintone, enter the six-digit verification code generated by the authentication app.
For iPhone or iPad
Install either one of the apps below into your device.
For Android devices
Install either one of the apps below into your device.
STEP 2: Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

Access your account settings.
At the upper right corner of the screen, clickto the right of the user name, and then select Account Settings in the drop-down list.

Click Login Name & Password.

Click Enable in the Two-Factor Authentication section.
The registration dialog for the two-factor authentication is displayed.

Scan the QR code shown on the registration dialog using the authentication app you installed in step 1.

Enter the six-digit verification code generated by the authentication app into the entry field in the registration dialog.
How Can I Get a Two-Factor Authentication Verification Code?

Click Enable.
