Changing Subdomains
Subdomain names can be changed in Kintone Users & System Administration.
Things You Need to Consider before Changing Subdomain Name
Changing subdomain name will also change the URL to be used in Kintone.
Therefore, the old URL becomes unavailable.
It is recommended to list all related services or mobile apps you are using before changing the subdomain name.
Getting the information on the services that need to be changed their old URLs to new ones helps you perform the tasks required after changing the subdomain names.

Check "Things You Need to Consider before Changing Subdomain Name".

Click
in the header.

Click "Users & System Administration".

Click Access Control.

Enter a new subdomain name in the "New Domain Name" field.
Available Characters to Be Used for Subdomain
- When You Receive Messages Like "Not available" or Other Messages Telling You to Check the Information You Entered
The domain name you have entered is used by other customers, or includes invalid characters.
Please try other subdomain names.

Click Save.
Once the configuration completes, e-mails are sent to all the e-mail addresses of the administrators.
Available Characters to Be Used for Subdomain
A subdomain name can contain only alphanumeric characters and - (hyphens).
The length must be between 3 and 32 characters.
You cannot use a domain name that fits one of the following:
- Uses double-byte characters or symbols
- Starts or terminates with - (hyphen)
Things You Need to Do after Changing Subdomain Name
After changing subdomain names, proceed with the following tasks immediately.
You do not have to complete these tasks for unused services.
