Unlocking a Locked-Out Account

To unlock the locked-out user account, Kintone Users & System Administrator need to change the password of the user.

  1. Click gear shaped administration menu icon in the header.

  2. Click Users & System Administration.

  4. Click Edit icon for the user whose locked-out account you want to unlock. Screenshot: A screen to configure departments and users. Navigation to the action to edit user

  5. Click Change Password in the upper right of the screen. Screenshot: "Change Password" is highlighted

  6. Set a new password and then click Save and Send via E-mail or Change Password.

  7. Notify the user that you have unlocked the locked-out account by changing the password.
    Check if the user can log in to the system using the new password.

  8. Reconsider the account lockout setting, if necessary.
